Its a Triathlon, not just a swim

Its a Triathlon, not just a swim

I had to remind my self that I am competing in a Sprint triathlon, not just learning how to swim. I have been so focused on the swimming part of the Triathlon, that I’ve neglected the other 2 parts, the cycle (10km/6.2 miles) and the run (4km/2.5 miles). Just keep swimming

Just keep swimming

Getting into the pool for the first time was scary. I felt uncomfortable in my super tight and unflattering swimsuit and I was scared that I would fail. The day of my first lesson, I asked my coach if we could cancel and his answer was a short “No! Get up and get changed, see … Continue reading

86 days to go!

The Nissan Corporate Triathlon National Series 2013 is in exactly 86 days away. On the 17th of February I will have to complete a 450 meter (ocean) swim followed by a 10 km (6.2 Miles) bike ride and a 4km (2.5 Mile) Run. My weakness is the swim, but luckily my strength is that I’m not afraid of the water and that … Continue reading
